Geoffrey D. LeShane, CPA, EA
Founder
With over 20 years of experience in the accounting and tax industry, Geoff is the founder of LeShane CPA. Before starting his firm, Geoff served as Director of Tax for a local CPA firm, where he specialized in developing tax and wealth-building strategies for individuals and service-related professionals, including physicians, dentists, and attorneys. His expertise in retirement plan strategies, real estate activities, and practice management concepts has helped countless clients grow and thrive in their specialties.
In recent years, he has further refined his focus on technology integration for small businesses, helping them improve financial performance and implement actionable key performance indicators (KPIs). He is also highly skilled in tax minimization strategies tailored for small business owners.
A graduate of Clark University in Worcester, MA, Geoff earned his his Enrolled Agent (EA) license in 2002 and his Florida CPA license in 2012 and. Geoff is passionate about solving problems, creating value in every phase of his clients’ personal and professional lives, and fostering an environment where others can learn and grow. He has a talent for making the complexities of tax and finance understandable and actionable for his clients.
Outside of work, Geoff enjoys cycling, including both mountain biking and road cycling. A fun fact about him? He completed his first century ride last year, a testament to his determination and love for pushing limits.
Kaitlyn Keen, CPA
Manager of Tax Compliance & Accounting Services
Katie’s career with LeShane CPA began as an intern in 2017 while completing her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at the University of North Florida. After graduating in December 2017, Katie joined the firm full-time and earned her CPA license in May 2021.
Katie’s passion lies in simplifying the complexities of financial reporting and tax processes. She thrives on sharing her expertise with colleagues and empowering clients by providing them with the tools and insights needed to successfully run their businesses. Her unique ability to translate intricate accounting concepts into practical solutions makes her an invaluable asset to the firm and its clients.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys fishing adventures with her husband, attending live music events, and spending time with her two dogs, Chewie and Ginny. A fun fact about Katie? She played the clarinet from sixth grade all the way through college, showcasing her dedication and talent both in music and her professional life.
Rosy Basart
Operations Manager
With over 20 years of experience in executive-level administrative and accounting support, Rosy Basart is a vital part of the LeShane CPA team. Her diverse background spans industries such as construction, banking, hospitality, and professional services, bringing a wealth of knowledge and versatility to her role. Fluent in Spanish and highly skilled in bookkeeping and QuickBooks, Rosy works closely with business owners across various industries and coordinates.
Rosy is passionate about teamwork and actively engages with clients to provide personalized support. Her dedication to collaboration and client success is evident in her hands-on approach, helping business owners navigate their financial needs with confidence.
Outside of work, Rosy enjoys spending time outdoors, being with family and friends, and participating in her ministry. Recently, she discovered a love for pickleball and unveiled a competitive streak she didn’t know she had!
Kaitlin Kemp
Senior Staff Accountant
Kaitlin joined LeShane CPA in 2021, bringing a strong educational foundation and a detail-oriented approach to her role. During her senior year at Auburn University, Kaitlin interned at a local accounting firm in Auburn, AL, where she developed her passion for tax and financial planning. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Kaitlin further honed her skills by pursuing a second degree in Information Systems Management.
Kaitlin’s expertise lies in her attention to detail and organizational skills, which she leverages to assist clients with tax projections and planning. She is passionate about expanding her knowledge in personal and business taxes and applying it in ways that deliver meaningful results for her clients. Her ability to help clients maximize savings and prepare for the future underscores her dedication to making a difference.
Outside of work, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with family and friends, cheering on Auburn University sports, and exploring antique shops. A fun fact about Kaitlin? She is one-quarter French, adding a unique cultural flair to her background.
Baylee Zimmerman
Staff Accountant
Baylee began her professional journey in accounting with an internship at LeShane CPA, where she gained valuable hands-on experience for two years before graduating from Flagler College. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Baylee transitioned seamlessly into a full-time role as a staff accountant with the firm in 2024.
Baylee is motivated by her desire to help others, finding fulfillment in assisting clients with their financial needs and making a positive difference in their lives. Her approachable demeanor and dedication to providing high-quality service make her a trusted resource for both clients and colleagues.
Outside of work, Baylee enjoys reading, relaxing at the beach, and discovering new coffee shops. On weekends, she volunteers at a local animal shelter, combining her passion for animals with her commitment to giving back to the community.
Richa Patel
Bookkeeper
Richa manages complex bookkeeping accounts, including accounts receivable and payable, payroll processing, and financial statement generation. Her commitment to professional growth is evident through her mastery of accounting software and industry best practices, as well as earning her Quality Analyst certification.
With an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Mumbai, India, Richa brings both technical expertise and a meticulous approach to her work. She is driven by her passion for learning new skills and tackling challenges, which motivates her to continuously deliver high-quality results. Richa excels at keeping clients' financial records neat and organized while addressing their concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring a seamless experience for every client.
Outside of work, Richa enjoys watching Bollywood movies, CID shows, and listening to music. She also has a love for cooking, experimenting with dishes from various cuisines around the world. A creative soul, Richa has dabbled in canvas painting and clay pottery and continues to showcase her artistic side by performing the traditional Indian folk dance "Garba" at weddings and functions.
