Geoffrey D. LeShane, CPA, EA
Prior to founding LeShane CPA PA, Geoff served as Director of Tax for a local CPA firm where he focused on tax and wealth building strategies for individuals and service-related professionals including physicians, dentists, and attorneys. His understanding of retirement plan strategies, real estate related activities, and practice management concepts were instrumental in helping professionals grow in their specialty. He also actively helped clients with IRS related issues including representation services, offer-in-compromises, and navigating the complexities of tax debt relief.
Geoff is a graduate of Clark University in Worcester, MA where he earned his B.A. in Business Management in 1996. He began his public accounting career in Portland, ME working with individuals and small business owners for a family run accounting firm. He completed and earned his Enrolled Agent (EA) license in 2002 and went on to attend the University of North Florida to meet all education requirements required to be a CPA. With more than 15 years of professional public accounting experience Geoff earned his Florida CPA license in 2012.
Geoff loves to solve problems and help people create value in each phase of both their personal and business lives. He excels at taking the complex world of tax and finance and making it understandable and actionable. Outside of work, Geoff loves spending time with his family. Geoff's wife Heather, a physical therapist at Flagler Hospital, and his two daughters Gabrielle and Maya are always out and active in the St. Augustine community.
Kaitlyn D. Alred, CPA
Katie currently handles complex accounting and tax matters for a small businesses. Her strong understanding of cloud-based accounting programs, including QuickBooks Online, help business owners to better manage cash flow, make decisions, and run operations at optimal levels.
Katie began her accounting career as an intern with LeShane CPA. Her positive attitude, understanding of technology, and commitment to learning helped to secure a full-time staff accountant position with our firm upon graduating from the University of North Florida with a B.A. in Business & Accounting in 2017.
In May of 2021, Katie became a licensed CPA in the State of Florida and has quickly grown into a strong leadership role for the firm.
Outside of work, Katie loves to watch University of Georgia football games, go jet skiing, spend time with her family & friends, and hang with her dog Chewie.
Rosa (Rosy) Basart
Rosy has over 20 years of combined experience in executive level administrative and accounting support in industries including construction, banking, restaurant, bed & breakfasts, and professional services. In addition to making sure daily operations run smoothly for LeShane CPA, Rosy uses her knowledge of bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and fluency in Spanish to maintain books and records for business owners in a variety of industries. Rosy spends much of her free time supporting her ministry and spending time with her family.
